Sales Tip: Tonality Business Development

Sales Tip: Tonality

  • November 8, 2020November 8, 2020

What is your tonality when prospecting or trying to close a sale on the phone?

Hi, how are you doing this beautiful Sunday morning? It is raining in Kingston, Jamaica. Well it has been raining everyday for more than a month, but I am giving thanks that I am alive to experience it.

As we prepare for another week of prospecting customers for our offerings, I decided to share a sales tip about tonality.

Have you ever heard some salesy people pitching on the phone? They sound very cheesy right? I find it very fake and disgusting and I think it is disrespectful to approach prospects in a fake manner.

Tonality:

How your voice sounds is one of the most essential factors when prospecting and closing over the phone. Once you are equipped with excellent knowledge of what you are offering the customer, authentic and use a positive voice, you will definitely come across as confident. At this point you will gain the prospects attention and puts you in a better position to close the sale.

Hope this tip will help you work on your tonality to sound positive when prospecting or closing on the phone. Have a wonderful, productive and prosperous week and close as many sales as time allows.

Morning Praise and Gratitude

  • November 7, 2020November 9, 2020
  • by Queen Gee

It is another beautiful morning, one that I praise and express my gratitude to the Creator for. It is a wet morning in Kingston, Jamaica, but no matter what the weather, I AM HAPPY TO BE ALIVE!

PRAISE:

I bless my God the Universal Creator at all times and praise for the Creator shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Creator and the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. I am exalting and magnifying the Creator all the days of my life.

GRATITUDE:

Today is another beautiful and wonderful day and I thank You my God and Creator for the privilege of life, to breathe and be part of the universe another day. Thank You for blessing me with all that is available to me in the universe and for blessing me with the ability to use what is accessible to enhance my life and help others enhance theirs.

Music Public Relations Business Development

Music Public Relations

There is still a great deal of music brands that are still not sure the powerful role public relations will play in the development of their music business or career. This is sometimes because they are not sure what is public relations.

What is Public Relations?

“Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.” – PRSA

Music Public Relations Plan

Now that you have a better understanding of public relations you must plan and develop your strategy to communicate your brand message to the public.

This will allow you to bring awareness to your brand and build significant relationship with your target audience, to achieve your goals.

This will further lead to growth in popularity, putting you in the mind of event promoters for potential performances, media coverage and increased record or merchandise sales.

Public Relations Management

Be sure to have a knowledgeable, creative and smart public relations manager on your team or hire one!

Music labels and artistes are creatives whose main focus is composing and producing top quality music to empower and entertain their audience. In order for them to produce and put out good quality music that put them in the position to meet their goals, they have to keep honing their craft and getting it right is rewarding, but time consuming.

I have met some gifted, talented and outstanding music creators who have produced great music that is unknown. Why spend good dollars to produce music that is not reaching the audience you intended it to reach?

Most times these musicians try to do it all, composing, producing and marketing their music. This will definitely cause you to burn out and not achieve what you initially expected. I recommend that you continue to focus on great production and hire a professional public relations manager, who will see your vision, understand your goals and work with you to create magic.

Music PR Services

Since 2010, I have been assisting music brands develop and maintain their public image, increase brand awareness, grow their audience and increase income earning opportunities.

Once I understand their goals, I begin by writing their Public Relations Plan and Strategy. I organize their publicity events such as launches, press conferences, etc., prepare press releases, press kits, media alerts, biographies and social media contents, pitch their brand message to the media, arrange interviews and more.

I want to assist you too. I want to see you reach the top and achieve your goals.

Business Development Lifecycle Stage One

Business Development Lifecycle Stage One: Inventing or reinventing your offer

The first step in the business development cycle is to invent or reinvent an offer that will help to fulfil a customer’s needs and solve their problems. In this stage you definitely have to do your research to find out what the customer wants (no sense creating an offer that will not solve the customer’s pain), then figure out how you can use your knowledge and skills to assist with alleviating the problem.

HOW I HELP CUSTOMERS WITH THEIR PROBLEMS

Personally, I choose to help reggae artistes and entertainment businesses grow and achieve their public relations and social media marketing goals to cultivate and maintain their public image, increase brand awareness, grow their audiences and increase income earning opportunities through:

Public Relations Management:

  • Developing their public relations strategy
  • Managing their public image
  • Organizing publicity events such as launches, press conferences, etc.
  • Preparing press releases, press kits, media alerts, bios and social media contents
  • Pitching their brand message to the media and arrange interviews
  • Biography Writing Services: creating outstanding biographies to reveal my clients’ life journey, including activities and successes. I also updating existing biographies to help them standout more!
  • Entertainment Blogging: publishing articles on Mystique Entertainment Magazine to promote my clients and conscious reggae/dancehall artistes, to build awareness and boost their online presence.

Social Media Management: helping brands grow by planning their content strategy, posting necessary content to build brand awareness, engage with their social media audience to build long term customer relationships, and manage their hashtag strategy to increase their followers.

INVENT OR REINVENT OFFERS TO HELP OTHERS

Now that you have a better understanding of the first stage in the business development lifecycle, which is to invent or reinvent your offer to help solve customer problems, you will now be able to create offers that will provide them with peace of mind and great experience!

Up next – STAGE TWO!

Who am I?

  • November 4, 2020November 5, 2020
  • by Queen Gee

Have you ever asked yourself ‘who am I’ and truly thought about it? I did that all the time and finally realize that I am no one.

Ahh I see the shock on your face, and it causes me to smile, because I expect you to be. No one describes themselves as ‘No One’. Anyways, you will understand what I mean in just a second.

We often attach ourselves to ideas, groups, race, things, job titles, etc., because we believe we have to identify with something and add labels to ourselves. But recently I started thinking about how limiting that is.

I do not want to be that person who labels myself and shut up in a box that limits me to be or do one specific think. I have no problem with specializing for career purpose, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t serve and gain satisfaction in other areas of life.

So I have finally stopped asking Who am I because I have figured it out. “I am no one, I know nothing, and I own nothing. I am merely grateful that I am part of this wonderful universe and have access to everything, passionate about everything and utilizing what is available to impact this planet.”
