Fear is something else, SMH. I am sure you have heard this before. However, I am reminding you (and myself) that fear will knock us clearly off our path. It’s that persistent shadow lurking in the corners of our ambitions, ready to cast doubt and hesitation. In this journey, I delve into the profound impact fear has had on my purpose and how, against its formidable grip, I am rediscovering the road to authenticity and fulfillment.

Confronting Fears and Rediscovering Purpose
The fear of not earning enough to deal with our expenses will drive us to do jobs that make us unhappy. Fear of what others will say will cause us to make decisions that suit them and keep us depressed. The fear of societal expectations may lead us to conform, stifling our individuality and passions. The fear of failure might prevent us from taking risks that could lead to personal and professional growth.
The fear of rejection may keep us from expressing our true feelings and forming meaningful connections. And the list goes on, a series of apprehensions that, if left unexamined, can shape our lives in ways that limit our authenticity and fulfillment.
A friend recently sent me a message on Instagram, reminding me of something I used to say on my radio shows in the past. It’s a little-known fact, but yes, I am a radio broadcaster, though not actively at the moment. However, that’s about to change.
As I read her message, it was like a light bulb moment for me. Special thanks to my friend, who goes by the name Sweet Peach on Instagram, for this unexpected reminder. Little did she know that the Creator sent her to reignite my sense of purpose. Just earlier this week, I found myself searching for answers, questioning, “What is my real purpose?”
Navigating Moments of Loss and the Journey Back to Inspiration
There are moments when I sense that something crucial is missing. I had reached a point where I had given up on broadcasting, a platform through which I could contribute to the audience by sharing information to help build healthy and happy relationships. Engaging with couples, experts, and everyday individuals in meaningful conversations became a source of genuine enjoyment for me.
This interaction allowed me to provide valuable insights and guidance to those in need. Unfortunately, when I decided to step away from broadcasting, I felt like I had lost a significant part of what I was meant to do on this Earth – inspire people!
The good news is, that change is on the horizon, and I encourage you to stay tuned.
Have you ever found yourself pondering the question of your purpose? It’s a question that can linger in the back of our minds. Surprisingly, the answer might already be present in the activities that bring you joy and satisfaction. Don’t let fear cripple or derail you from living your true purpose. It’s essential to recognize that fear is only a temporary setback.
If you’ve temporarily veered off course, fear not. Hop back on the train of self-discovery once you figure it out, because, believe me, we always find our way back to what truly matters.
Update – Out of Fear Came My Mission
No, I didn’t get back into radio broadcasting, but who knows; maybe podcasting is in my future endeavors. My mission is a journey to cultivate a healthier and more fulfilling life. I’m setting my sights on spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wellness. How did this all begin? It emerged from a realization that something was missing – a piece of me that I had temporarily set aside.
In my broadcasting days, I found joy in engaging with couples, experts, and everyday individuals, offering insights to build healthy and happy relationships. When I stepped away from that, I felt a void. It was as if a part of my purpose on this Earth had been temporarily eclipsed – the mission to inspire people!
However, change is on the horizon, and I invite you to stay tuned. While I may not be returning to the airwaves, I’ve embarked on a new mission. This journey focuses on the transformative power of various elements in life – walking, healing herbs, nourishing smoothies, stress management, mindful crochet, and more. These are the pillars of my quest for holistic wellness.
Through the lens of my experiences, I aim to share valuable insights on my blogs and social media. My target audience? Crocheters and women over 50 who are on their wellness journey. The goal is empowerment, encouragement, and the sharing of wisdom gained along this path to a more wholesome existence.
