Building healthy relationships Love Stories - Building Relationships

Relationship Advice!

  • October 30, 2020October 31, 2020
  • by Queen Gee

Today I am sharing seven relationship advice with people who are single and looking forward to getting in a happy and healthy relationship.

Deepen your relationship with the Creator

This has nothing to do with religion – when we get deep in our spirituality and learn how to love ourselves, we becoming loving, confident, compassionate, understanding, kind, stable and forgiving people.

Don’t seek another half

Have you ever heard persons talk about their other half? Well I am advising you not think like that. You are a whole person, who will be getting involved with another whole person who hopefully will compliment you regardless of their shortcomings!

Avoid controlling people

They only come to silence your personality. You can’t breathe around them, because you always have to be doing what they want, how they want it, when they want it, and you have no say in the matter – that will only kill your spirit and dreams. Be vigilant!

Respect other people’s relationships

This simply means that you should not be a home wrecker. There are people who you are attracted to for one reason or another and they may be into you too, but you have to do background research to find out about this person and if he/she is already in a relationship this is not for you. You deserve someone who can give you their full attention and build an amazing life with you.

Live within your means

Make intelligent decisions when choosing a partner. There are persons who get into relationships just for a financial bail-out. Don’t do it! Most times people end up in miserable long-term situations, just because they made poor decisions. You can do better, work with what you have until you are able to achieve more and also have a blissful relationship.

Connection

Make sure you have a connection with the person you are dating before making that important decision. You may not immediately pick up on it but look out for it…don’t force to find the connection, just relax when you are on your date, it will come to you. If you don’t find it by the third date though, hmmm I would think twice if I were you.

Sometimes people rationalize the situation by saying, things like “He/She doesn’t have feelings for me right now, but he/she will grow into it.” Don’t be desperate. You will only get deep and then stuck in a miserable relationship. Have fun when you are out on a date but look for signs. You must be able to connect to find balance for an amazing relationship.

Exude positive energy

Your lack of positive energy usually turns people off.  Sometimes this is because of the protective wall that you have up after breaking from another relationship. You must heal from past relationships that cause you to live in fear and start living by faith. Make yourself approachable: so change your mindset about relationships, love yourself more, speak well about yourself, make yourself attractive, live as healthy as possible, learn more about something your are interested in – in other words be confident and as I said before, approachable.

Best wishes

Kindly share relationship advice in our comments section to help people who are seeking to be in healthy, happy, romantic relationships. Thank you for reading and I am sending you love and best wishes for a beautiful day filled with love a pure bliss. Love yourself more today and have an amazing life!!

Dear God

Grateful for My Mama!

Dear God, today I focus on my gratitude for my dear mom who passed on July 2, 2017. I am so grateful that you allowed her to come into this world on Saturday, October 25, 1947 to impact all the lives she touched as:

  • An obedient and discipline child to her parents and various communities in which she was raised.
  • A loving sister to many.
  • A wonderful and devoted wife to her husband
  • A loving, protective, caring, strict and jovial mother to seven biological children and a host of foster children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom she nurtured and encouraged to be exceptional human beings.
  • A wonderful relative to a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
  • A counsellor and advisor to thousands.
  • A long-standing and devoted member of the People’s National Party in Jamaica.
  •  A creative interior decorator and business woman who cooked and satisfied thousands at Mama’s Place in Bay Road, Westmoreland, Jamaica (now I am missing her cooking lol. She was a great cook, and many loved her pork meals.)
  • She was a wonderful friend and confidant to many, including me.
  • She was a devoted Christian.

God I thank you that I knew her and that she loved me and I her. I especially thank you my Father that while writing this, I am smiling (last year this time I was tearing up). I am her writing and visualizing her; seeing her all dressed up (she loved to dress up and was a fashionable woman) on a Sunday, looking beautiful as ever and graceful going to church, where she sang beautifully.

Again, I thank you God for sharing her with us, I will always love and cherish her memories…now I am in tears, but I am fighting them back by smiling, because God you are good for sending her to impact lives, especially mine and this is good reason to be happy and grateful.

I will keep smiling in your honour Mama – Happy birthday hon and keep singing with your beautiful voice and watch over us. Thanks for your love and care my beautiful Catherine Anglin-Pearson. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!

You are missed by your husband Desmond Pearson, me, your daughter Maria and sons Billy, Steve, Jeremy and Acleish. Please say hello to your baby son Franz who left us to be with you in paradise. You are also missed by thousands who love you. Again, happy birthday mama!

Add Value and Build Trust

Business Development

It is very essential for business development managers to ‘Add Value and Build Trust’ to attract new customers for business growth.

I recently read an article by Bruna Martinuzzi, on  Americanexpress.com about this topic and decided to share what she said with you.

Add Value and Build Trust

“Rather than going after people’s wallets, consider going after their hearts. Business growth can come from adding value to every relationship, with prospective customers and existing customers. We can add value by providing information and knowledge, by being an advisor, by obsessing over treating customers right, both before and after the sale, and by having a reputation for great execution and white glove service.

This mindset and approach build trust and goodwill which are your calling card for business development. But building trust takes time. As Seth Godin put it, “People don’t believe what you tell them. They rarely believe what you show them … They always believe what they tell themselves.”  It’s your public persona and your actions over time that will likely influence what people tell themselves about you.”

I hope this will help business owners or business development managers grow their businesses.

Gratitude

Giving thanks to the Creator!

The struggle is real but I will continue giving thanks to the Creator for all my blessings.

Like everyone else I have my down days, but I will continue pushing to keep my head above the waters and work smartly for what is rightfully mine.

Blessings to everyone who has no intention of giving up even when we are faced with grave hardship.

Never Give Up

Though we are going through our personal crisis, let us find a way to lift up those around us who are struggling. We are our brother’s and sister’s keepers, so let’s do it for the love and not for the likes…

Happy Friday and love always from Queen Gee!
