Confident Woman Energy at 57: Tea, Crochet & New Season

The month of May has arrived, and I can feel it already – the confident woman energy! This is my season.

There is something special about stepping into a new month with fresh energy, clear vision, and gratitude in your heart. Friday was the first day of May, 2026, and today I woke up feeling alive, inspired, and deeply thankful. 

This month means even more to me because on May 16, I will be turning 57 years old.

And honestly? I feel good. I feel strong. I feel creative. I feel hopeful. I feel like a confident woman stepping into another beautiful chapter of life.

For me, confidence is not about being loud or trying to impress anyone. It is about knowing who you are, appreciating your gifts, and choosing to walk in peace and purpose. 

At this stage in my life, I understand that confidence grows when you continue doing what you love and use your talents to help others. That is exactly where I am right now.

What Confident Woman Energy Means to Me

A lot of people think confidence comes from outer things such as money, status, appearance, or approval from others. However, real confidence comes from within.

It comes from knowing your value. It comes from waking up each day grateful for another chance to create, serve, and enjoy life. Wow! This brings me so much joy.

It comes from embracing your story, even the difficult chapters, because they helped shape the woman you are today.

As I prepare to turn 57, I realize confidence has become softer and stronger at the same time. I no longer feel the need to prove myself. I simply want to be myself fully.

That is the kind of confident woman energy I want to carry this month, and beyond.

Crochet, Creativity, and Queen Energy

One of the things bringing me joy in this season is crocheting. There is something healing about working with your hands and watching beauty take shape one stitch at a time. 

Recently, I have been enjoying making ruffled hats – bold, feminine, beautiful hats that carry queen energy. I love wearing what I create.

There is power in making something with your own hands and then wearing it with confidence. It reminds me that beauty can be created from simple things. For me, it’s threads or yarn, time, patience, and vision.

Confident Woman Wellness Through Herbal Tea

Another part of my joy right now is my wellness journey. I love growing herbs in containers in my backyard. There is something deeply satisfying about stepping outside, harvesting what I need, and brewing a fresh cup of herbal tea.

Sometimes I grow the herbs myself. Sometimes I purchase what I need. Either way, I appreciate the blessing of having access to plants that support wellness naturally.

I love knowing that I can walk outside, pick what I need, and create something nourishing for my body. That feeling is freedom.

Sometimes I sip tea while crocheting. Sometimes I drink tea while working. Sometimes I simply sit and enjoy the moment.

Those small moments matter. They remind me that health does not always have to be complicated. Sometimes it looks like slowing down, sipping something healing, and appreciating the life you are building.

Why Turning 57 Feels Powerful

Society often speaks about aging in negative ways, but I see it differently. Growing older is a gift.

Turning 57 means I have gained wisdom, resilience, gratitude, and perspective. It means I know myself better now than I did years ago. It means I care less about opinions and more about purpose. It means I understand that every season has beauty, including this one.

At 57, I have lived enough to know what truly matters. I have weathered storms that once felt impossible, and I came through them stronger, softer, and more grounded than before. The things that once kept me up at night no longer have that power over me. I have earned that peace.

At 57, I am still creating. Still learning. Still growing. Still dreaming. Still becoming. There is no finish line on a life well lived, only new chapters waiting to be written.

I feel so good and smiling while writing this, because that is something to celebrate. Not just a birthday, but a whole beautiful, hard-won, meaningful life. Here’s to 57, and everything still to come.

My Message to Women in Every Season

No matter your age or where life has placed you right now, you can still bloom. This is not a cliché. This is a truth I want you to hold close, because too many women have been told directly or subtly that their best days are behind them. That opportunity has an expiry date. That dreaming is for the young. I am here to tell you that is simply not true.

You can start growing herbs in a few containers. You can begin taking better care of your health. You can explore your creativity. You can wear bold colors. You can start a small business. You can rediscover joy. You can become the confident woman you were always meant to be.

None of these things requires perfect timing, perfect circumstances, or a younger version of yourself. They only require a decision, a quiet, powerful choice to begin.

Maybe you have been waiting for permission. Consider this your permission. Maybe you have been waiting for the right moment. This moment, right now, is enough to start.

Your story is still being written. Your gifts are still needed. Your presence in this world still matters deeply. Your life is not over because of your age; if anything, you are more ready now than you have ever been.

Your next chapter may be the most beautiful one yet. Turn the page.

This Is My Time

This month, I am embracing everything that makes me feel alive. Crochet. Creativity. Herbal wellness. My container garden. Confidence. Gratitude. Joy.

These are not small things. These are the things that remind me who I am and what I am here to do. These are the threads of a life I have intentionally built, and I am proud of every single one.

• I am grateful for the gifts in my hands, the ability to create something beautiful from nothing, to nurture growth, to show up with intention every single day. 

• I am grateful for the vision in my heart, the dreams that have stayed with me, grown with me, and continue to guide me forward. 

• I am grateful for the opportunity to inspire others, not by being perfect, but simply by being fully, unapologetically myself.

That is a powerful thing. Do not underestimate it.

May feels different. May feels charged. There is something about this season that is calling me higher, and I am answering. I am walking into this month with open hands, an open heart, and the quiet, unshakeable confidence of a woman who knows her worth.

The confident woman’s energy is not something I am waiting to feel one day. It is here. It is now. It is me. This is my time, and I am ready for all of it.
